Yes. and if you live in the U.S., you should know that the U.S. dollar and the Canadian dollar are about equal; meaning $1 U.S. gets you $1 Canadian. (The Cdn $ as been worth more than the USD since last year and more recently has been fluctuating by a couple of cents). I say this to let ou know that if this is considered a lot in the US, the same can be said for its value in Canada.

Thats a fair income for a year. It will buy you what you need, gas, food, house....

THat's a good salary for anyone but a doctor or lawyer. Even in rural communities, a lawyer would be glad to earn that.

You will not be rich on that salary in cities like Toronto, but you'll definitely be comfortable.

So no, it's not a huge amount, but it's pretty high.

yes that is a hell of a lot of money. Even if that is before taxes yoru take home is going to be...well let's just say HOLY CRAP! The average middle class income is about $30,000 - $40,000. So with that amount you are STYLIN!

The average income per household in Canada, according to Statistics Canada was around $67,000 CAD in 2006 (the latest year that data is available). Thus, K$95 is better than average, but not by a lot.

Remember, Canadian pays a lot more tax than Americans, so actual "disposal" income maybe near K$60. This is NOT a lot of money, especially if one has to carry a large mortgage. FYI, mortgage payment is not tax deductible in Canada, unlike US.

Just as a comparison, a medical doctor in Canada makes about K$200 a year, gross.

Depends for what?

Salary? Depends where you live and what kind of lifestyle you seek.

Chocolate bar? WAYYYY too much?

Aircraft carrier? Dirt cheap and probably wouldn't float either.

As you can see, you do not provide near enough information in order to answer your question sensibly. Can you provide more information?

A lot of what, earnings or spending? Either way yes that's a lot. You should be able to live very comfortably if your household income is over 40,000 a year.
