Legality of Cannabis and Cost in Ontario, Canada?

Just wondering what the law is in Ontario on the posession of cannabis, and if it is expensive, i.e a price example. Also does the law change in different parts of canada?

According to Canadian law it is illegal across the country. If you want to take your chances with anything but " physician prescribed govt controlled medicinal marijauna" (sp?)its just that "a chance".

Some cops dont sweat the small stuff but some go by the book. ANY possession could mean a criminal charge - including growing.

Marie
Well a judge just ruled a couple of days ago that the laws against possession are void due to an oversight that allowed medical use of pot. The decision is being appealed.

law changes in different areas of canada for sure, i.e do not get caught in Alberta!! but in Ontario keep it under a quarter and you'll be fine, in fact if someone does stop you the most you'll be is fined.

Price wise, about $15.00 for a quarter
