Poor conduct on the part of a retail store manager. However, how old are you? Are you a teenager? It could be that the store has had problems with teenagers shoplifting clothes. Perhaps she was just concerned that you might be planning on lifting an item. No disrespect intended and I'm not suggesting that you were, it's just that maybe you fall into the demographic that has caused problems in that store.

Try and get in touch with the owner. A manager at my old workplace was like that, and customers couldn't get by her to the boss as he owns three different stores. They eventually talked to the owner who gave the manager a big talking to.

It's a shame some places hire managers like that. Customer service needs to be upscale everywhere, and to see a MANAGER like that is just rediculous.

That is extremely unacceptable treatment. You need to call head office and report this. Any customer representative who treats a customer this way needs to be immediately dismissed. I've included the information re Below The Belt's head office below.

Wow really? I'm sorry for that. I have an assistance guide dog and maybe I should go there with my dog and let him sniff all of their cloth... If she tries to kick me out, then it'll be the police.!!
But seriously, I'm sorry some people really have mental issues. Don't take it personal...
If it was a chain store, just contact their chain like let's say Jacob cloth store, and tell them what happen. They'll beat the **** out of that person.... My dad once had a terrible experience with KLM airlines employee and I reported her and KLM gave me a $50 gift card to say sorry and I don't know what they did to her.... Some people have issues...

Wow...that's bitchy. You should call someone about that. I don't know the managers name, but you should go there and ask someone her name. Soemtimes there are more than one manager about, so make sure you get the right one...then call headquarters or something. People can be really rude for no reason.

call the store and ask for the store manager. she was probably just the shift manager. if the store manager is not in, ask when she will be, or get a phone number, and tell her! that girl should be fired.

OMG wat on earth was that woman's problem?? Sounds seriously mad to me lol. Well, it's due to her own error that she has lost a valuable customer for her store, whether she realises it or not. Maybe she does have some mental disorder (maybe not), but then why is she employed there in the first place?? With behaviour of this kind, she'll be chasing away plenty of customers each day. Am sure abt it!
