Everything is accessible with 5-30 mins distance (not like ontario where it takes 1 freakin hour to get downtown). Transportation is great and the space is great. Nightlife is awesome and the outdoor life is amazing. I dont know any other place that has a dedicated bike path. |

Montreal has a variety of different cultures. You will often see the people of Montreal start their story in french and go to english and vice versa. The restaurants are great, the joie de vivre is vibrant. The people have style and they have an open mind. Montreal has a great night life. It also has its political tension but it keeps things rather exciting funny enough. And to the first person putting Montreal down that is darn rude..Toronto is booooooooooooooooring.... |

Montreal is a great city to live, (if you got cash, and/or a job). I'm not gonna sell you on the idea, its not mine to sell. But Montreal does offer a lot of unique culture you won't find anywhere else in Canada, or USA for that matter. It offers a "New York-ish state of mind" in a European surrounding/ or is is a European state of mind with an anti-American mentality?? Oh well, its one of those anyways. For you, I suggest Toronto. Sounds like you would fit in better there, judging by your sterny tone, you'd have a tough time in Quebec. Good luck. |
