Montreal Nightlife for College Kids?

I'm in Montreal and I'm wondering what are the best places to go at night. We are college kids and looking for a young crowd because everywhere we have gone is mostly old people. Looking for recommendations on pubs and good clubs.

If you like punk/metal/alternative music, check out Foufounes Électriques on St-Catherines! Wikkid place with awesome tunes, dance floor, pool tables, they even have a board ramp out sometimes!

I was just there in september with my cousin and we had a blast. It seems to the two main party streets are Rue St. Catherine and St. Laurent. We spent alot of time on Catherine at winstons and this microbrewery (i cant remember the name) but it was right next to winstons and it was awesome. There are a bunch of clubs in that general region. All the real "night clubs" are on St. Laurent. I dont reccomend Tokyo, cant say too much about the others though.

Cote St. Catherine Street.

Crescent st. is the old person strip. Check out the corner of prince-arthur and st-laurent. Prince-arthur is a pedestrian-only cobblestone st., with some good hangouts off of it. That would be my best suggestion... Of course Cheer's on Thursday night, ladies drink free... Turns into a meat market as a result though... Or is it Wednesday night?

biffnasty
worst clubs in the world...very unfriendly unattractive people and warm beer...
