According to National Geographic Magazine the most beautiful city in North America is Victoria, BC. It is a nice city, but I think some towns along the east coast are better. Toronto has a beautiful skyline, Calgary is very neat and well organized, and Ottawa is very clean. I don't know. It's up to personal preference, I guess.

Anywhere in British Columbia, Canada is beautiful. That's why it says on our license plates "Beautiful British Columbia."

Depends on what your definition of "beautiful" is.

Victoria is very floral (I believe they have very strict municipal codes for keeping personal property well-groomed - many retirees live there, and I guess they have a lot more time on their hands for gardening and lawn-care). Also very clean and some very cool architecture. Touristy, especially around the inner harbour region.

Halifax has a rich history and a still has its "old world" feel. I love walking around the downtown area, and along the Halifax harbour wharf.

I find the wide-openness of the prairies to hold a special beauty that some people would perhaps find boring. But I love the prairies, and Calgary offers so much beauty in that regard. Head in any of three directions for endless farmland and huge sky. Head in that 4th direction (west), and you get the amazing drive into the Canadian Rockies, which are absolutely breathtaking.

Old Montreal, with its 400 year old buildings and narrow cobblestone streets is certainly worth seeing (I'm told that Old Quebec City, inside the walls, is also similarly beautiful, but haven't been there myself).

Ottawa holds our federal seat of government, so gets most of the money to keep itself looking its best, and it shows. The Rideau Canal is picture perfect at any time of the year, especially around Parliament.

I think any Canadian city could be classed as "beautiful" in one way or another. The only one that I've visited that I'm still trying to find the beauty of is Toronto. But I'm sure it's hiding there somewhere.

Kimberly, BC.. Vancouver, BC.. Kelowna BC... anywhere in BC, and places inside the Rocky Mountains on the Alberta side too, like Banff and Jasper. that is, if you like mountain vistas, forests, waterfalls, etc.

if you like wide open skys, the prarie provinces and North... architecturally speaking, try cities in Quebec.

but my heart is owned by a little town in the interior of BC... Christina Lake!

There are several beautiful cities in Canada however, the one that sticks out the most in my mind is Victoria, BC. It's clean... it's green... some beautiful architecture.... lots of park space, trees, flowers, gardens... waterfront... very clean.

I honestly cannot say, as I have not been to them all. I hope that someday I can say, however, I can just assume that they are ALL beautiful.
