You won't have any problems when you're here. Join a sports team or club in college.

Hope you're going to the University of Toronto (my alma mater)

Good luck

If you're going to be going to the University of Toronto, check out this site. It's got a lot of information on clubs & activities.

Yeah, if you're in res especially, you'll have no problems. I also suggest joining a sprots team or any of the other clubs that exist at your college. I'd also suggest going to Kensington Market once you're in Toronto, because it's fun and there's a lot of young people. There's a lot of things to do in Toronto and depending on what you're into (whether it be sports, art, or film) you'll have a lot of chioces. Good luck!

I am sure the college you will be attending will have a social club with everything you need to know.

The suggestions above are good. People in Toronto are extrememly friendly, you won't have a hard time making new friends.

I hope you enjoy Toronto, I think you'll find that it's more multicultural than Miami, and just as exciting. There's a reason people in Toronto don't move out dispite the cold...we love it here, it's a great city, and I know you'll love it too.

You will have no problems at all. Canadian schools in general attract a lot of international students, and they are more than accommodating. This is besides the point though, since most students will be in the same boat as you, and everyone will be super friendly and looking to meet new friends etc.

And if you are in Residence, then trust me, you will have a dozen new friends by the end of Frosh week.

Toronto is a great city, you'll have an amazing time, trust
