I would say that they gather at the mosques. I have not been to Toronto for a few years. Here is a list of mosques and the location.

Like the answerer before said, there are places in Scarborough, Markham, etc.
Your best bet would be Brampton. There is a large Muslim/Arab community and lots of shops and services. Even the local Longo's has Halal meat, etc.
In Toronto, it's more scattered about. |

There's tons of mosques in Toronto. There's a big one, a replica of a famous one at Finch and 27. |

I am neither Arab or Muslim, but there areas for shopping for Muslim people with Halal meat/grocerys and arabic videos all over the city, alot on Gerrard St in the Pape/Greenwood area.
Mosques are not limited to one area there are many all over the city, and with the diversity of the city, most neighbourhoods has one or a few in there district. Alot depend on the area of the city, downtown is good but in the burbs like Scarborough, Woodbridge or Markham have a better selection of shopping and mosques to population. |

Oh, well there are many places. The Danforth/ Donlands area is where many muslims go, becuase of the masjid (mosque). Also becuase there are alot of halal food stores ( like al nabi). Apparenly mississauga ( a suburb), has many places, and Lawrence East/ Warden has many stores that have been around since the `70's ( like NASR). |
