My boyfriend is going to Montreal with a group of about 14 friends for 2 days to go to all the strip clubs.? |
Should I be worried? I do trust him...to a point. But when he gets around a group of guys, drunk, I'm afraid of what might happen. He tends to cave in to pressure from his friends a little too easily for me to feel totally secure. We have been together for 2 years and we live together. I trust him-but how tempting is it up there, far away from home, with friends, strip clubs and alcohol in the mix? How far can it go with the strippers? Will they be all over him and allow him to touch and grope them? What is it really like? I know I may not like what I hear, but honest answers would be appreciated!! Additional Details Ok guys...you're both guys right? If you were away from home and your girlfriend, in an environment like that, would you do stuff that you know you shouldn't do(because you have a girlfriend) because you knew you wouldn't get caught? That's what I'm worried about....that he's going to do stuff that would hurt me because he knows he can't get caught. Would you be more likely to cross the line if you knew she couldn't catch you? |

You either trust him or you don't, he'll either cross the line or he won't. But yes, most strip clubs offer lap-dances for a very reasonable price. I think the men aren't allowed to touch the women with their hands, but I could be wrong. This guy tells me Montreal is way better than Amsterdam in terms of legal sexual value for money. |

I live in the Montreal area and have been to some of the strip clubs. Chez Paree, Amazones, Wanda's, and Club SuperSex are but a few of the nicer "gentlemen's clubs" that we attended when I was younger and hanging out with some of the guys.
All of these places offer full nudity and lap dances, but if you tried to touch the young lady your arm would be twisted behind you and you would be asked to leave by the rather large gentleman at the door.
There are some clubs that offer more "contact" than the others, but prostitution is not actually legal in Montreal, so if caught they would lose their bar license or have to pay a fine.
The key here is that if he is going for that purpose, he will be able to find it. So unless you trust him enough to be true to you, then you should probably let him know how you feel about this trip.
And if you don't fully trust him, make sure to remind him to use protection so he does not bring any surprises home to you! There are condom vending machines in many restaurants, bar, and strip-joint bathrooms up here so there is no excuse. |

Well, every guy is different. I wouldn't destroy a two year relationship to mess around with a crackwhore, but I wouldn't be surprised if sizable portion of men would. If you don't trust him now, will you ever trust him when he goes out with friends? If not, then why are you investing so much in the relationship?
As far as the second part which might have been directed to me...I might give a buck or two to a stripper, and I might flirt a bit, but nothing more. I wouldn't hook up with one of them. Oh yeah, someone said not to hassle him. If its a borderline situation and you really don't know for sure, constantly hounding him and acting suspiciously might be what it takes to push him over the edge. That applies to both sexes. The best thing to do with it is use it in case your friends ever invite you out to a bachelorette party or something like that. |

Have you been to Montreal? Where are you from? Montreal definately has a lot of liberal strips clubs. For 10$ a song, a client can put his hand on any dry places of a girl's body...some off island (30 minutes drive from downtown) clubs offered fellatio for 80$. When a group of 14 guys spend all that effort to travel to Montreal, I doubt they will be satisfied with only topless shows. Check merb.ca and see for yourself how many American and Toronto men donate their hard earn cash on Montreal's sex industry. |

You can have sex with Strippers in Montreal if you pay for it. Just about every strip club has "private" or "full contact" rooms, sometimes it just at a table.
Not to upset you, but full contact is not that expensive in Montreal. Once place you can have sex through plastic with the girls - that's the best way I can describe it.
For the number of Montrealers going to strip clubs compare to the number of tourists going to strip clubs, there seem to more out of towners going alone for full contact.
Its very tempting, but if you trust him, you trust him. I lived there for 5 years (just moved away in February) and I've always trusted my guy 100% and its never back fired on me.
Most of the girls will respect no on the first time. But if he doesn't clearly tell them to be hands off, they certainly won't stay away.
Its not so much the strippers that are a problem, its the ridiculously huge sex trade in Montreal. A prostitute is cheaper than a stripper.
I'm sure you'll both be fine. |

Personally, if my boyfriend were embarking on this "adventure" knowing that I had some reservations about it, I'd question how much respect he had for me and our relationship. If a relationship isn't based on mutual respect, it doesn't have much of a foundation. I'd spend the time that he's away evaluating if it were worthwhile to invest any more time and emotional energy in a relationship with him. |

OK, I'm old now but when I was younger I went to alot of strip clubs. For a little money you can do alot of things & were not talkin' about what's on the menu either but that being said, it's all up to the guy, how far does he want to go? Will he stay true to you, more than likely yes. Now if the bouncer don't like the way he's treating the girls, he's gonna get his but kicked. So really there's not to much to worry about, it's going to be nothing but a night of harmless fun so relax.... |
