That depends on where in Canada, what your view point of nice is, and about a million other things. I'm from southern Ontario. Right now we have about 5 inches of snow. This won't stay long as the forecast is showing +7 by Monday. Believe it or not there are alot of similarities to the USA.Canada has mountains, prairies, hills, beaches, and yes some snow.We share the great lakes,Niagara falls, and the boarder with our friends in the USA.Canada has the longest shoreline in the world, and so on.Is it nice? You bet! It has alot to offer.Just as many countries do.

i have lived in almost every province.... currently in Newfoundland.... amazing place! B.C. is beautiful with a great outdoor living lifestyle to be had (the island is best! victoria, nanimo )

It's aboslutely beautiful...

I wish I knew what your preferences are with respect to the environment in which she likes to live but we have everything except, sorry, no earth quakes or volcanos, very rarely do we get hurricanes.

Yes we get lots of snow, some places more then others, but it's really not that bad. A cold deep breath on a cold winters morning is really refreshing and it sure help my son's asthma.

I think it's the most beautiful country in the world...sorry for my bias!

.:: me ~*
Oh yes, it's a wonderful place to live! In which province does she want to move? They don't pay taxes in Alberta :p...

It is absolutely beautiful. It is clean and there is so much open space. The people are friendly and it isnt really expensive at all.

atcranes

Weird, so many people I know r moving to Canada. I've been there twice and it's pretty sweet. If you like cold and snow, then yes it is nice. There are some beautiful places, and then some not so nice places so it depends where you are going. I move around a lot, and I find it fun to go to new places and see new cultures. I hope u have fun.

Soupy
Definitely...it's nice all over.I highly recommend it.

Japandra
Depends on where in Canada you mean. It's got a lot of different land- and climate-types.

sel_bos
Yes, it is nice except winter. If you can tolerate -40C, welcome to Edmonton.

jokesbyjen
Nice place, but it's not so easy just to up and move to Canada... lots of paperwork and stuff

Anyhow, saying "Canada" is like saying "move to the USA"

You could be moving to inner city Detroit or somewhere in the peaceful country. You need to give more specifics. Canada ranges from average to TUNDRA-like climates!

For the most part it's only cold in Winter (unless you are in the Northwest Territories or above, but they get summer too- about half as warm). Everyone acts like we're all in igloos up here... our summer temps go above 40C, that's like frickin Egypt man!!
Anyway yes, it is very nice. It's the one place I could ever imagine calling home...Things aren't more expensive, we have a different dollar so it's all about the same. We are very multicultural, so she should be prepared to live amongst every race and culture imaginable!!

misterk
Peaceful place but things are too expensive...

G-Man
Yes but not nicer than here.

Canada is in the middle of Iraq. If you dont mind the noise, you should enjoy it.
