You could take the airport shuttle to the Greyhound station and take a bus to Banff or take the "Airporter" from the airport and it will take you into the downtown where you can catch a Greyhound to the Greyhound station and take the bus to Banff. There are lots of possibilities, but those are the ones I know. Ask at customer service at the airport, they'll be very informative and helpful! You won't have a problem unless you are travelling at night.

Several bus companies right on airport. Just ask one of the many nice people and they will direct you to the areas to reserve a seat. Been there, done that when I didn't need a rental car to travel around Banff area. I thought price was reasonable and I liked not having to drive. Prefer to look at the scenery, once you get out of Calgary city limits.
Enjoy I'm jealous because that area is my favorite place to vacation.(hiking).

you could take the 73 to brentwood and then the bus to Canada Olympic Park (that route # excapes me) and get off on the Trans Canada Highway and hitchhike there, you'd be suprised the people who pick ya up. Or the last resort, take the greyhound.

dkska;
Try Greyhound express.

From Calgary you can take a train to BANFF (note spelling) or you can take a bus. Either way, it isn't a long trip and Banff is beautiful. Enjoy your visit.

Do you mean Calgary to Banff?

Try Banff Airport shuttle. or Rocky Mountain sky shuttle, or the Banff airporter.

It runs about $45.00 Canadian.

If you are staying at one of the hotels in Banff - ask them if they have airport service; some do. If you're bringing your skis for later in the season, don't forget to tell them when you book your seat!
