does that include your air fare to get here??? yes your being scammed. do not pay anything untill you go to a canadain embassy and ask about work visa's ask them the cost. then go to the air port and ask about air fare chances are it might save you some money. but why Canada? the taxes here are to high and job market is low.

You need to pay for a work visa, and the flight to get here, but the application forms for coming to Canada and submitting them to the government can be done at little or no cost.
Take a look at the official Canada Immigration website to see what you may have to pay for. If you are paying an immigration website a processing fee for handling your immigration papers or work visa, you are basically paying someone a lot of money for something you can do yourself with a pen and the right forms.

Sounds like you are being scammed...
.... do you mean you are being charged $3000 to apply for a work visa?
There are lots of companies out there that charge alot of money to manage your visa / immigration application, (basically just filling out the forms for you), but they provide nothing more than you could do yourself by contacting your local Canadian embassy or High Commission.
Don't pay any fee (unless it's the one you have to pay to the Canadian government).

You do not need to pay anything except a fee to the Canadian Immigration authorities to get permission to work in Canada. It's all here:
