Winter:
1. The Falls with ice
2. Festival of Lights
3. New Years Eve celebrations are free by the Falls
Summer:
1. Maid of the Mist/ Whirlpool jet Boats
2. Journey Behind the Falls (also open in winter)
3. Clifton Hill attractions (haunted houses, fun house, Ripley's Believe it or Not, etc.)
And the year-round sites like the casinos, Niagara-on-the-Lake, etc. |

It depicts spectacular scenery and shows natures power. The huge gallons of water being poured down the falls is really a beautiful scene. It has many stores, lots of tourists and has night time lights. Some days even fireworks, it's truly amazing I've been there hundreds of times. You should go there some time!!! |

1. To see the falls
2. Gambling/Casinos
3. Haunted Houses
It's a really neat place. I live in Buffalo not too far from Niagara Falls. We go there occasionally to escape. I'm assuming you're talking about the Canadian side (which has a lot more to do). But even if you're not, there's lots of shopping (Niagra Falls outlets), and great foods. Also, if you're in Canada, things are cheaper, and they have the Duty Free there, so you can stock up on your booze. I'd recommend going when it's warmer out though. Our weather's getting really bad right about now, and it is VERY cold.
Please do take a trip there. You'll enjoy yourself and so will everyone else that you go with. There's something for everyone. I'd say you could catch a Sabres game in Buffalo, but I don't think anyone will be able to do that until like 2010, hah. |
