Nice areas to live in Oakville, ON?

Give reasons please. i would like an area close to the best elementary/preschools, transportation and amenities. I hear that Oakville is a generally safe place, are there any areas i should avoid?

Oakville is beautiful period. Housing is very expensive though. Burlington, Milton, Georgetown or anywhere in the Halton region (maybe not Acton) is very nice and all a lot cheaper than Oakville.

Oakville is gorgeous but very expensive so be prepared to spent a lot of money to live there. Any place close to the lake is ideal but again, a lot of money. There are a lot of beautiful sub divisions too....just take a drive through and check it out.

I recently moved to the Bronte area of Oakville (South West end near the boarder of Burlington) it is absolutley gorgeous and very safe. There are a few very good schools around the area. You should definitely check it out.

There aren't really any "bad" areas in Oakville so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

In Oakville i think Area around Trafalger Go Staion and Ford Drive is good

Anywhere is nice to live in Oakville. Oakville is one of Canada's most affluent communities. It is the home of Ford of Canada and is on the waterfront

Oakville companies have access to a high quality local work force, as 58% of residents have a post secondary education. This level of education is 38% greater than the provincial average. While manufacturing industries account for 15% of employment, managerial/business/administrative categories make up 36% of occupations. Being situated within the GTA, businesses in Oakville also draw on a larger increasingly mobile work force of 1.2 million within a 30 kilometre radius of Oakville.
Within a one-hour drive, Oakville workers/employers have access to eight universities and eight technical colleges for formal or continuing education. Local elementary and secondary schools are supplemented by nine independent schools. Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning main campus is located in Oakville, and provides a variety of education and training opportunities in business, animation, engineering, arts, social sciences and technical fields. Sheridan provides education to 13,000 full time post secondary students and 37,000 continuing education students.
