Oakville is beautiful period. Housing is very expensive though. Burlington, Milton, Georgetown or anywhere in the Halton region (maybe not Acton) is very nice and all a lot cheaper than Oakville. |

Oakville is gorgeous but very expensive so be prepared to spent a lot of money to live there. Any place close to the lake is ideal but again, a lot of money. There are a lot of beautiful sub divisions too....just take a drive through and check it out. |

I recently moved to the Bronte area of Oakville (South West end near the boarder of Burlington) it is absolutley gorgeous and very safe. There are a few very good schools around the area. You should definitely check it out.
There aren't really any "bad" areas in Oakville so I wouldn't worry too much about that. |
