Nightclubs and Legit ID?
If an individual does not a a driver's license, what are other forms of ID that can be presented at an Ontario night club?
BTW this is out of curiosity. I have a driver's license. Additional Details I live in ON Canada actually...and if you don't have proper ID..your *** ain't getting in anywhere... my friend is in this predicament...and i know on NYE it will be way more strict.
I agree that they are strict. I was "carded" at clubs until I was about 28. They ask you even if you look over 19.
Anything with your birthdate and picture that is government issued would work. If you have no driver's license, passport would be best but you could also use a health card. Likely citizenship card would be accepted if your picture wasn't taken when you were young (my friend has one and her picture was taken when she was a baby - these photos are never updated - and one club would not accept it). There used to be an age of majority card you could get if you were 19 but did not have a license, however I think they got rid of that. Generally, school ids will not work..

I dont know, but if I were a bartender, I would only serve those that have a valid drivers lic. of valid Military ID.

you can present your passport or citizenship....i guess our health cards would also be sufficient with another piece of ID

In the US I think you can get what they call a non-drivers license. Like if you dont know how to drive or if your dont want to drive. It serves as a way to identify who you are. It looks almost like a drivers license only its not.

In the US you can usually get a "State ID" without having a Driver's License... You get it from the same DMV or MVD or whatever they call it by you.
Almost everything else can be forged or isn't a legal form of DOB Verification.

Breasts will usually do it for ya. other than that Canada dosen't care about much else. Why would they care aboot the legal drinking age.
