Well, Alberta has more jobs, mountains, better economy but the price of living is higher.

However, I could never move away from my mountains. We spend a lot of time out there skiing in the winter, hiking in the summer. We live just outside of Calgary so it's a bit cheaper but close to the city.

Our winters are much nicer the NS. We get chinooks. The last week here it's been 9-10C every day. Last night it only went down to 2C. We do get the odd blizzard and it does get down to -25 once in a while but it's very rare.

I would love to visit NS some day - sure wish flights were cheaper across Canada.

Nova Scotia for me - I love to be close to the ocean.

NS. Couldn't stand to be away from the ocean. On top of it, the maritimes have more character and less cowboys.

I'm in Manitoba now but my next choice would be Alberta, because that is my home province, and where my family is. I have never been to Nova Scotia, but I think jobs are hard to come by.

There are lots of jobs in AB now, but it also tends to be quite expensive.

Tyler
Nova Scotia, because it's so beautiful over there.

I live in Alberta, so I'm partial to it already. I loved NS when I visited, but being a prairie girl at heart, I'm not ready to move there.

If employment wasn't a factor, my answer would be Nova Scotia.
