I know what you are thinking about.....the weekend before Halloween, the Church Street Business Assoc. closes down Church street in downtown Toronto's gay village. All the bars have costume contests and everyone wanders around the street showing off the costumes or taking photos.

It really is a lot of fun and you wouldn't believe the imagination put into some of the costumes.

I think the parade you might be talking about is the Toronto Santa Claus Parade but that doesn't happen until November.

Lived in and around Toronto all my life, and only heard something about the 'Zombie Walk' last year...so glad for you and me (and all of we Halloween nuts) that "Scorpion Whiz" (and "Canadian Ken") knew the answer! Will be checking out the website, and hope to see all you 'dead' people there...thanks for great question and answer, fellow Yahoo! 'zombies'!

No halloween parade in Toronto that I've ever heard of.
