The east actually gets more than the far north, the far north is technically a desert. |

It is not the Maritime provinces at all - the snowiest city is Corner Brook on Newfoundland's west coast. But the mountains of Northern BC and the Rockies get the most snow of all.
The Maritimes actually has relatively light snowfall - certainly less than Ontario or Quebec on average. The snow we get usually melts quick and we get a lot of slush, freezing rain and sleet. Though this year is colder than usual and the snow has been lying longer. |

Oddly enough, we don't have to exclude the far north, since it's not in the running. Most of the arctic is a frozen desert, they actually get very little snow. |

Ms Know it all is Correct, I have lived and worked from coast to coast and know from personal experience how much it snows. If I am not mistaken I believe there are areas in the southern Rockies that get 200 + inches per year. |

The Atlantic provinces of Canada. They recieve a TON of snow every year, as much as the height of a car sometimes. MUCH more than there is currently in Southern Ontario (omg there's SOO much snow...so much shoveling!!). |

The east does.
The Pacific hot air current keep the west warm. |
