International.

Canada favours the cultural; "mosaic" rather than the USA's "melting pot". We encourage ethnic diversity.

Warning: "C" on a water tap means hot (chaud), not cold, because the province of Quebec is bilingual, speaking English, but proudly FRENCH first!

So don't scald your hand thinking C means cold like every other place in North America!

Just one word? FANTASTIC.

But Montreal is international, festive, multi-cultural, open, proud, historic, French, lively, charming .....and so much more. To live here is to know here!

Okay but Michael P. yes Canadian culture is like a mosaic rather then the U.S melting pot... but Quebec has a ratically differnt culture other then the rest of Canada... most actually say it is a lot like the melting pot of the U.S, french is dominant and immigrants are pushed to adopt the french culture, even though accomodation is present, most would rather the french culture to be totally adopted.
