Places to get excellent passport photos in Canada?

I really want to steer clear of Wal-Mart... I've heard bad things about their passport photos. I was thinking of London Drugs, but wanted some other places I could go to?
Additional Details
Also if you know how much these places are charging for them

I got mine from the local photography shop. Any well known photography shop should be a good be, seeing as they specialize in these types of things. I would probably steer clear of Wal-Mart too, its often just kids working in places like that.

I used a photography shop, but Sears also does very good passport photos.

CAA is good, as are Shoppers Drugmart. I believe I heard they charged $12 at Shoppers.

I always go to a photo shop too. You're right, don't go to Wal-Mart, they always get returned. My friends family all went there, and 3 out of the 4 were returned.

I don't know anyone who has had theres done at London Drugs, so I can't really comment. I've heard that the CAA or BCAA (or whatever province) do a good job too.

I usually pay around 12-14 for passport or visa pictures. I think it's definately worth spending a little more and avoiding the risk of it being returned.

Alberta, Canada I think is one of the best places

Depends where you are, my city has an amazing lil photo lab. The smaller family owned ones are always better. At least you will be getting your pic done by an actual photographer.

I have never personally seen a London Drugs, perhaps we do not have them in Ontario. I had mine taken at Walmart. They took about six until they got it perfect. They are very fussy about passport photos, there is a list of things you cannot wear in the picture, such as gold jewelery, earrings, headbands, or have your hair tied back..........The picture turned out just as good as the one on my license or health card, although that does not say much.................
