poutine is popular in Quebec but can be found at Harvey's restaurants all over Canada.
East Coast - seafood like lobster, fish, scallops, etc.
Ontario - beef, chicken, fish, pork with veggies
Alberta - beef (lots of cattle)
I hope this gives you some ideas
P.S. It's Tim Hortons (donut shop with great coffee). Tim Horton was a Maple Leafs Hockey player. |

They MIGHT sell Poutine in McDonalds in Quebec but I've never seen it here in BC (only at New York Fries)
Maple Syrup is the most Canadian food.
Poutine (french fires cheese curds and gravy) and
Tortiere(meat pie) while Canadian are both more Quebecois than Canadian. |

it depends where in Canada you are... but the only thing i can think of that McDonalds might sell thats Canadian is "poutine", which is a french meal, of french fries covered in gravy and cheese |

You are probably talking poutine, and it is more a French-Canadian thing. I am from BC and never heard of it until I was over 30.
I have had it at McDonald's. For me it holds the award as the worst poutine I have ever had. So, I don't know if it was a temporary thing they tried out, something tried and failed, or if they just serve it regionally. KFC in BC serves it. |
