I am going there and want to know what can I get there that is hard to get in the States. Don't say Syrup or drugs

Canadian cigarettes. Canadian beer. Canadian Ice Wine of different brands which is sought after around the world, Real rye bread, Bernard Callebaut chocolate - world award winner. Old Dutch Potato Chips. Lululemon clothing and Danier Leather which is hard to find in USA. Native arts and crafts - both Native Indian and Inuit. As someone else said, Cuban cigars - but you can't take them back across border (although the border guards would love you forever, LOL).

hmmm
Smarties candy. Ours are like M&M's and what you guys call smarties, we call Rockets. There are also other candy bars that you guys don't have. My sister lives in Illinois and every time she comes up here, she brings back chocolate bars that she misses, and for people there to try :)

Crispy Crunch chocolate bars. There's an American one something like it, maybe it's a Baby Ruth, but Crispy Crunch is way better

It's hard to think of much because everything is available in the States. If I knew what area you are traveling to, there are probably things you can get that are very specific to that region- for example, handcrafts by local natives (make sure they're not made in China!!) and CD's by good local bands that aren't famous enough to be known in the States.

well, ,if you're going to Niagara Falls, they have amazing Ice-wine that they make in vineyards near by. They make the wine when the grapes are frozen in the winter. Really expensive but worth it. Check a local grocery store (anywhere you're going in Canada) and look for Humpty-Dumpty chips. They come in weird flavors, like grilled-cheese and ketchup, roasted chicken, loaded baked potato, etc.

Cuban cigars, Canadian booze, cigarettes...

Get a poutine while you're here. They just don't have them in the States, and every time I visit we end up having fast food on the way - not a restaurant that sells poutine in sight. Makes me miss home every time... delicious :)

Hey, it depends where you are going in Canada. We have amazing health services (which doesn't help with souveniers). Most of the stuff we have in Canada is imported from America. You can probably get some things like Body Shop cheaper.

Sorry I couldn't help more.

Healthcare? Well, even that's gonna cost you. International vistors don't get off without paying. Sorry - citizens only.
