Question about going to canada.......can i go? |
i was arrested for an unpaid speeding ticket, ( had a warrent for about one year...). i was never placed in a cell. just sat in the waiting area for about 6 hours, waiting to be bailed out. got out and a few days later went to court, pled guilty, since my fines were paid, i was told to go.
is it possible for me to go to canada? |

No matter which State you travel into Canada from you should have no problem getting into Canada. Canada Law only prevents people who have had felony conviction or DUI in the States from coming into the Country. Just make sure to bring your passport or Drivers License and Birth Certificate to make it easier to get back into the US. And please.... make sure to say "Sorry" and "Excuse Me" to be more like a Canadian than a stupid American tourist. The Canadians will like it! |

call the canadian authorities they are tough lately on getting over the border if you had an arrest.... i know one person who had an arrest from 7years ago and was denied access... i have no arrests and got in and out fine in 2006 but alot tof things have changes since then( it was januray 2006 when i went in and left) |
