Question for Torontonians?

I don’t live in nor near Toronto and I don’t drive and neither do the people I have to meet. So I’ll be taking the GO bus or train from Newmarket to Union Station. So my question is how much would a taxi cost from Union Station to Eglinton and Bayview.

a cab will cost you at least $30-$40 with tip from union to Eglinton and Bayview. You could consider hopping on the subway (much quicker) at union and going north to Eglinton Station - from there if you caught a cab it'll cost you more like $10 with tip.

FeatherHead
$35....instead, take the Go bus from Newmarket to the Finch station. transfer to the subway, get off at Eglinton, then take a bus to Bayview...

Depends on the route the driver takes, and if it's stop and go traffic. But I've taken a taxi from St. Andrew station to Bayview and Eglinton, and it was 27 bucks. St Andrew and Union are the same distance away from Bayview and Eglinton, so I'm sure the fare would be about the same.

denisa
Probably it will cost 30$..

Depending on traffic, probably $20 at least.
