Questions for my fellow Canadians, HELP?!?

Where can I get a general ID?!

I don't have a drivers licence or anything like that. I need to have a picture ID in particular. I'm trying to apply for a police report to get a job. They want to 2 pieces of ID (one with a picture) for me to get the police report. It's a job at "Canadian tire" nothing big. But I have NO picture ID and I don't have enough money to go for my licence.

So is there anyway I can get a general GENERAL ID anywhere? any government place? how much is it?

Any help would be great!!

Do you have a passport?? If so, use that. Other than that, thats pretty much it... Oh, you could use your social insurance number for another ID Prolly, but it doesn't have your picture on it. Sorry, thats the best I can do.

Get a new health card. They now have your picture on it. That and your Social Insurance card should be enough ID. Call the health office and ask about when and where they are doing new and renewal health cards. I had to go to the library. Good luck.

The health card has a picture but it can not be used as ID.

There use to be something called the age of majority card but I'm not sure if they still issue those. BYID card probably won't help you.

Passport or Drivers' licence really are your two options. Everything else is just as expensive and takes longer.

Yes you can get an age of majority card at the Liquor Store.
