Re: moving to canada?

want to move myself, hubby and 4 kids to Canada for good. When we called the application to emigrate up on internet, having looked through it, it states that the application itself can take up to 4 years unless you are applying to be with your spouse/children etc.

So wait four years. By that time enough people who don't know how to ask a question will have left, so we'll have room for you.

do yourself a favor and stay where you are. anywhere has to be more interesting than here. I have to stay here because I have student loans to pay off - or rather I can bulk up my finances and make a move to the uk as I have citizenship there. you will be so bored here. there is only so much skiing you will want to do.

Stop opening new questions, go back and edit the original one! We haven't a clue what your on about!

If you already have a job there waiting for you and if you have a lot of moola, I think the process can be quicker than just mlving there for the fun of it. I studied there, study permit was easier to get, well assuming that I was leaving the country after I was done, which I did. I think it also depends on the citizenship that you have. I got my permit in 1 day compared to people that carry a passport from a south american country. Good Luck!

Wow 4 years is a long wait, you'd probably change your mind about moving by then. You should call up the Canadian Embassy and ask them about it and they'll have the latest information. Also if you have family or friends living in Canadian they can sponsor your family. (I think) but don't get your hopes up. Keep trying. Goodluck and all the best.

4 years wait for you then..

Try the British expat website. They have a community board and you can ask people who have gone through the situation.

Apply for a temp resident visa, only way to get in quicker but no guarantee that you will be accepted for permanent residence.

I don't know

Yeah I think your better off waiting the four years
