Canada rocks my socks. I love it here. I had a great upbringing. You have kids, so there's great sports opportunities in Canada. we have winter, so they can play hockey, or ski/snowboard, and all kinds of fun winter activities. that was the best part of my childhood.
other great parts, the landscape is breathtaking, everyone is very proud and supporting of democracy, freedon, and peace. and it's very diverse, and multicultural., which is wonderful, and provides so many experiences.
and now, excuse me biffnasty, but I HAVE MAD BEEF WITH YOU. you are so lucky this is an online thing, because i would be all up over your *** so fast you wouldnt even have time to turtle you cowardly little jack ***. im glad you live in the states because we dont need people like you in our fabbbbbb country. i dont EVER wanna hear you call Canada worthless again you little **** |

BECAUSE CANADA IS AWESOME!!
Amazing people, little crime, its safe and friendly, the scenery is beautiful, we have all four seasons, the summer is warm, the winter is great (but kinda cold), we speak french, we have Tim Horton's and Rick Mercer and poutine. Pretty much the greatest country ever. |

There are many people in Canada with Scottish ancestry and depending on where you settle in Canada, you are likely to find a kindred spirit.
Nova Scotia (as the name implies) has much culture to offer you and your children, and heritage is a big part of the life there.
Canada's Fraser Institute has been ranking our public schools since 1998, and you may want to study their assessment of the schools in the area you plan to immigrate to.
Ironically, I have a friend who left Canada to see the world, and has since settled in Scotland working for the University of Dundee. |

Among the minor reasons - plenty of space, wonderful beaches, maple syrup, hockey, forests that stretch forever, all kinds of sports, and the most important - friendly helpful people. |
