STARBUCKS or TIM HORTONS?

What do you like better, Starbucks or Timmy's...
(only answer if you've had both.....)

If you're an everyday, hardworking Canadian whose hands are as rough as sandpaper and you've ingested enough asbestos to kill a rhino, chances are you drink Timmy's.

If you work in a high-rise, have a Bluetooth wireless headset permanently attached to the side of your face and talk using metaphors the average english speaking citizen will never understand in a million years, chances are you get your daily dose of caffeine from Starbucks.

Me: Timmy's. By a longshot!

Definitely TIMMIES ALL THE WAY<<<>>>and it is so much cheaper, and gives me enough energy, to get all my housework done...but quickly learned not to have one after supper, as it keeps me up all night....
And Starbucks, does not have the 3 R's....for RRRoll up the Rim....lol but they should and instead of winning one coffee, you should win two any sized coffees, as I find them very steep in prices...

Definitely Timmie's! It costs less, is a more relaxed place, more variety in food, and the coffee is much more mellow - not bitter like Starbucks.

Tim Horton's overall..

unless you want to sit down/do work, in that case i think Starbucks is a bit better

lol, i slightly disagree with "security help" I'm white collar with my blue tooth stuck to my head 24/7 and i still prefer Timmie's coffee, i get it when i can.--however, i do have to say i do drink Starbucks since , in non Canadian cities, its more popular, there are more of them, thus I'm slightly coerced to it. and their wi-fi is always nice...

Tims, definitely. The taste of starbucks doesn't even come close and they charge an outrageously high price.

I like both.

Starbucks for the people, store enviornment, great quality beverages, and atmosphere of it all. (Cons - price obviously and it is slower due to the fact that drinks take longer to make, more steps, etc)

Tim Hortons for the cheap bevs and food. I love doughnuts! Also, if you get something you don't really like you don't feel as let down since it was so cheap. The service is quick. (Cons - staff aren't as friendly and nice, sometimes it smells bad in there, regular coffee is just cheap coffee not great quality and its not as clean)

I work at a Starbucks and I used to work at a Tim Hortons. The cleanliness standards are much higher at Starbucks. Tim Hortons also just keeps their coffee on a hot electric plate, at Starbucks its plugged in inside a stainless steel brewer. Keeps it fresher and hotter.

MMMM...White chocolate mocha from Starbucks...can't live without them...But Timmis for that quick cup of coffee

I like Starbucks coffee and a few of their desserts but most taste like sand and are overpriced. Tim's makes a better cup of tea and their breakfast sandwich on a biscuit is the best anywhere.

Timmy's. I cannot imagine paying $4-5 for a coffee at Tarbucks. I love my Timmy's!!

I'm Canadian. It has to be T'Ho's.

Starbuck :D I haven't been to Timmys lately, but last time they didn't offer soy milk variations of their drinks.

I like the Tazo Chai Tea from Starbucks but if I was to be given either a dessert from Starbucks or one from Tim Ho's, I would pick Tim Ho's anyday..

Starbucks is overpriced and over rated. It seems that you always hear that name when you are surrounded by classy business people.. it's almost as if it's the coffee house by choice to fit in with the "sharks".

There is something about Tim Hortons that is comforting... The smells of fresh bread or other assorted pastry items, baking when you walk in the door... The Hot Chocolate is like a warm hug on a cold day, sometimes a little tooo warm for me... but hey, at least it stays hot for some time!!! Even the atmosphere of Tim Hortons is comforting, welcoming and most times friendlier than the clientele that frequent most StarBuck locations....

And it's a proven fact... Tim Hortons has gotta be the safest place around... it just has to be.. with all the police presence all the time... who would want to ever hit up a Tim Ho's or cause a problem there??? Not me, that's for sure!! :)
