Not quite sure where you were going with this question, but I will say this:

Go to the American side and go to Tommy Ryan's Soft-Rock Cafe. They have the BEST pulled pork sandwiches (for cheap) ever!

Also, there used to be a little shop of really cool hand-made items called Artisan's Alley. See if you can find it.

The cocoa cabana is very easy on the wallet compaired to other resturants. The food there is great!! Brazilian style food. You will pay about the same eating at applebee's. There are alot of nice shopping areas away from the strip. I stayed at the Oaks and went east down the drag and then north down a few roads and found all sorts of deals. Don't buy anything right by the falls, it is all marked up for tourism.

There are a million and one souvenier shops!!! some pretty good restaurants....probably if you drive around, you'll find some regular shopping places.

It sure isn't the way it used to be. There used to be more parks and fountains, more to look at. Crass commercialism now.
Some nice little shops, but all seem to have almost the same line of wares. Some places are too expensive.
If they list a price, check first if it's in Canadian or U.S. funds.
Some of the merchants will take advantage of you because our currency is worth more. If they figure you to be a tourist, expect to be a target.

It depends on whattype of shopping you want to do-- if you're looking for general mall shopping, I'd suggest going over the bridge in Nia Falls Canada to New York. You'll get a better exchange rate and you'll get more for your money on the American side. The Factory Outlet Mall (aka Niagara Factory Outlet) is pretty big and it's not too far from Nia Falls Canada. Also, try Military Road on American side... lots of big box stores and little strip malls.

If you're looking for more touristy shopping, you can stay on the Canadian side and drive through Clifton Hill area.

We found very little other than the same tourist tat in nearly ever shop around Clifton Hill.

Boston Pizza was reasonable for eating in.

The chinese restaurants however were absolutely vile.

i live 10 mins away form Niagara falls. so ur question is shopping. go to clifton hill. there is alot of shops there. there is also resaurants,arcades,fun houses, haunted houses, virtual roller costers and much more and of course....The Falls which are pretty @ nite when they are lite up. thers a few tours there too. theres also a bird conservatory and some casinos. @ the fallsview there is a GREAT mall there. Hope I Helped! =]]
