I'm sure Canadians would have something to say about that idea. Canada is a great country. Why would they want the problems the USA has. Leave a good thing alone.

Canada is NOT the same as the U. S - it is better. That is why so many of you want to move here. I was born in the States, moved here with my parents when I was young and then went to Los Angeles to live when I was older so I know what I am talking about.

While the healthcare is different (everyone gets treated regardless of income/no income), the money is worth more but we are a peaceful nation with a superior form of government and a gentler way of life.

Like someone said, perhaps Canada should take over the U. S. - you all would probably thank us :>).

Canada and the US are like night and day. If the US took over Canada I'd move to Europe.

And Make Tea Not War, the US never forced Canada to do anything. We didn't go to Iraq.

its better their seperate. theirs history and it would be too complicated and Canada has a prime minister and the US has a president. 2 much conflict and whos 2 say Canada would go against and next year we would be canada.

this question is asked so many times .(yawn )first of all we are different countries ! ANd American can not just take it over.They already tried in history and were not successful with the Brits.(THE BRITS GAVED THE USA THE ASSKICKING LAST TIME...)
Canada is a common wealth country and the Uk made a promise to all countries that were under her rule that she would protect them .Ie the folkland islands in the 80's when argentina decided they were going to take over.Sorry but USa would turn many of their alies into enemies!!!!
Don't be fool I agree with the other person who answered...if you lived in both countries you would see their is a difference .By appearance first you would not tell but when you understand the way of thinking politically and socially IT"S very different.
By the way why our money is different because WE ARE a different country and of course health care system is not the same for the same reason .OUr money is closely match ...a difference less then .3 cents ...The uk has a migtier dollar then the US .It takes almost 2.00 american to get one pund so why don't you then say should America just give themselves up to the UK

why does everyone think that the two countries are exactly the same?? it makes no sense. do some research before asking retarded questions. take a look into the government systems of both countries. completely different. our whole way of life is different than that of the US. and why would anyone in Canada ever want to be "taken over" by the US?? i know i would definitely move somewhere else if that were to ever happen. We have it pretty darn good up here you know.

Actually the US could not afford to take us over, when you try to submit people of superior intellegence and ethics it never works, they would have turn the whole country into on big Guantanemo Bay internment camp, as like other that have been surpressed the revolt would be in numbers, the US does not have enough troops and ammo the put down an inserection with 30,000,000 rebels.
