Sometimes they completely take apart the car. Door panels, hub caps, etc. They did that to my friend and she didn't even have anything.

If you get caught, it would be the last time you'd ever be able to cross the border. Is it really worth it?

Don't do it if you get caught they will throw international charges at you. but t answer your question when ever they see somone acting obtuse they will search you.

f*ck yahoo, i'm doing google

Why don't you just declare it? They might miss the age thing, and then you can't get charged, worst thing they can do is confiscate your booze and send you on.
More importantly, why don't you just stay out of Canada, that kind of attitude shows you aren't mature enough to be drinking here anyways without doing something stupid. Besides, there's more tax on booze here, having someone else buy it at home for you would be cheaper... though we do have much better beer here than your watered down fizz.

Don't even try it, the outcome will not be good for you.

Imagine I am a U.S. border control official, and you drive up to my border post. I see you are a U.S. citizen, age 18. I can smell liquor on your breath, so I know why you went to Canada.

Of course I'm going to search your car.

Well, at the border crossing station nearest to me, there are two huge rooms filled with smuggled booze. And I have literally seen them tear a car apart. Not to mention x-rays.

Don't even try it. Not only will you get a humungous fine, but you will have a criminal record.

It first of all depends on the crossing site. They are more likely to search at the major crossings. Usually the search is just cursury but they do major searches at random; if your number comes up.

party onnnnnnnnn :)
anyways, they don't search cars if they are not suspicious. act normal and everything will be fine. i think that you are allowed to bring alcohol (not sure though)
if they ask what you bought just say souvenirs such as t shirts and maple syrup or wtv.
it should all go good.

anyways, remember: if you lie and get caught then you're screwed. so be smart and avoid getting caught.

but last time i crossed the border they just asked for my passport and how long i stayed, blablabla.
