Pumpkin pie is most definitely not what comes to mind when I think of the US. Apple pie, perhaps.

snoopy
These are not stereotypes.

These are just products that are very commonly produced in each country you mention.

If you really want to get at stereotypes, your chart needs to be something like:

Ireland........drunks or ... drunks
France........smelly or snobby?

Etc.
Stereotypes involve descriptive (generally negative) words, not nouns. Stereotypes are about HOW you think about something, not WHAT THING you think of.

By the way, just for clarity: "English" and "French" are not countries.

I find this intersting because my (US) state borders Canada and is also associated with Maple Syrup and Moose.
You are right on about these stereotypes, and did a great job expressing what they are :)

MN has maple trees and so do a few other states in the US and Moose too.I've seen four leaf clovers grow in MN and other states as well. Many people the world over enjoy tea

Terry,JackofHearts
It's even double "round" here.
I'm quadraphonic. Just ask me where and when.
