The Sunshine Coast is the coastal areas and communities that are north of the Vancouver area, but only accessable by ferry or plane. It includes Gibsons, Seaschelt, Powell River and other areas.
It's quite beautiful, quite rugged and very wild. There is wonderful fishing and diving throughout the area.
And despite the name, it does rain there. But, they do receive more sunshine than many of the surrounding areas. But really, who cares. Its beautiful rain or shine! |

I don't know if you have a certain place in mind,but I certainly live on the sun shine coast.The coast of south Texas.Average temp year round 72.Our beaches are natural beaches have not been spoiled by man yet.You can still camp on the beach and have a Bonn fire,if you want to.Camp 10 feet from the water and sit in camp and fish.It truly is heaven.I was born and raised here and will die here,I forget how wonderful our Texas beaches are.But,it has to be the best,its in Texas.Come to Padre Island,Corpus Christi,Texas Y'all |
