The weather in Canada?

Is that really always that cold? where the climate is better? Vancouver or Toronto?
There is a summer in Canada? how many months a year is the summer? The summer is hot or still cold?
Additional Details
smjpilot- I'm used to the middle-eastern climate. I would freeze to death in Canada..

45C in the summer in Vancouver? are you serious? For how long the summer last?
I won't be far up north, if I'll go to Canada it would be to Vancouver or Toronto but I think that Vancouver is much better (climate speaking).

Alot of people say that Canada is boring, Toronto and Vancouver are boring? Toronto looks like New York City and Vancouver looks like Los Angeles.

Since you feel so negative about Canada you might feel more comfortable staying put.

All of Canada except Vancouver and Victoria has winters where it can go to -40C. In Vancouver, +30C in summer is a very hot day. Though there are some places 200km inland from Vancouver where it can hit +45C.

Vancouver has the better climate but Toronto has jobs. But really, if you are from the middle east chances are that you will absolutely hate the climate in Canada.

Most American's or anyone that does not know much about Canada always assumes that Canada is freezing and doesn't get warm.
They are wrong

In my town, we have 3 months of spring, 3 months of summer, 3 months of fall and 3 months of winter. Pretty equal. In the summer we get a high of 45 degrees Celsius.
In the winter we get a low of -38. So that's our regular.

But of course, there are some places in Canada that don't recieve as much warm AND cold weather as we do. So it's pretty good here. :D

there is a summer in ever place on earth, summer does not mean high temperatures and go out on the beach.

in canada, the southern part near the U.S. is relatively the same. in the north, moss grows when its summer but dies in the winter, and the weather is not always cold; i where shorts here year round in -degree weather all the time, and its fine. everyone else may not think so.

The summer is quite warm in Canada. Vancouver has the most mild climate, but it rains alot. Toronto gets cold in winter, hot and muggy in summer. What kind of climate are you used to?

It's not really always that cold haha.
It depends on what you consider "better" climate. In toronto, there is much more of a winter than in Vancouver. Vancouver is actually considered one of the warmest cities in Canada.
That being said, our winters can get bitterly cold, and it snows pretty much everywhere. Winter is pretty long, usually from late November or early december until mid April where I am.
There is most definitely a summer here! My city can get to minus 15 degrees celsius (5F) in the winter, and in the summer, it's been up to 45 degrees C (113F). Summer tends to vary across the country, but generally lasts from late may or early june until September.

Please bear in mind that Canada is HUGE, so the weather changes a lot depending on where you are, but unless you're far up North, it's not that cold all the time.
(Also, it's december right now, and it's about 41F outside)

What does it matter,
Nobody lives in Canada.
It's a mythical land that celebrities say they're from,
when the place they're really from is too boring.
