If you are from the UK and aged between 18-35 you can get a one year work visa through BUNAC - very simple, I did it 2 years ago. They also have some similar programs for people from other countries as you didn't say where you were from.

It takes 3-4 years to immigrate to Canada. If you are a US citizen you can visit Canada for up to 6 months without a visa but you cannot work there.

You might want to include where you live right now.

And great, try going to the AAA website, and they have info on most countries/all states.

Just take a airplane/car their. If you seriously dont know all this, you should not be going to canada anytime soon. Go consult your lawyer for more help.
