1. West Edmonton Mall, allow yourself at least a day or even 2 if you want to go to the Galaxyland and Waterpark.

2. Whyte Avenue, Old Strathcona area

3. Telus World of Science(Odyssium)/IMAX

4. Hockey Game, either the Oilers(NHL) or the Oil Kings(WHL)

5. West Edmonton Mall! Trust me you can spend quite a lot of time there, 1 day shopping, 1 day Waterpark, 1 day Galaxyland and Shopping

For shopping there are some other nice malls such as Kingsway Garden Mall, or in the Downtown there is a huge mall City Centre.

I'd say:

1) the Mall and water park
2) Telus World Of Science
3) I found the Royal Alberta Museum interesting
4) If you can catch a hockey game; and
5) my next fav thing to do would be to leave but my office isn't going to be transferring me from this place for another 3-4 years.

Whenever I'm in Edmonton I head to the West Edmonton Mall...it's so huge and amazing! Even if you don't plan to shop there is so much to do there.

There's a real cool store near downtown Edmonton called Populuxe. They have the neatest stuff for sale, all of it old but useable. It's like going back in a time machine to the 1970s once you walk inside! But they have odd hours and I think are only open on weekends so check first.
