Toronto Weather?

Besides snow, is there alot of bad weather in Toronto? Or better yet the entire Ontario area? Like Tornadoes

I live in the Toronto area and the weather here is usually interesting. Right now, in February, there's occasional light snow to grease up the highways a little. Dress warm and you're fine. Temperatures at this time of year are usually below freezing with occasional thaws and as cold as minus 20 C (without windchill). North of Toronto, in the lee of the lakes, they will get much more snow, sometimes closing roads for days (for instance in the Owen Sound/Kincardine area).

In the summer, it's usually pleasant with occasional heatwaves of temperatures greater than 30 C with high humidity. Summer thunderstorms are somewhat common. Tornadoes will happen a couple of times per year somewhere in southern Ontario. Most people have had the experience of a close call at some point in their lives, but fatalities are fortunately quite rare. The last hurricane to hit Toronto was Hazel in 1954.

Cooooold tonight 16 Celsius below.with wind chill could even be colder. If you want to know about the whole of Ontario that is a big area to cover. it takes 8to 10 hours of driving to reach Manitoba from southern Ontario to the north. We had a couple of Tornadoes here but mostly associated with hot weather and thunderstorms.

TO has pretty good weather...very cold right now, but not a lot of snow...no severe weather really.

Toronto's weather sucks. Like others had said, too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer. Add the blanket of pollution and u have a perfect combo of health problems! Don't go there.

Toronto has bad weather.
Too cold in Winter, too hot in Summer.
If you want to live in Canada, stick to the Coast, British Columbia,
Nova Scotia, or Charlottetown.
