Yes you do. There are a lot of down and outers in that area. I would not want to be alone in that area after dark. It;s too close to Regent Park. |

It is not the best part of town but there's no need to get paranoid about it. Compared to seriously unsafe places in large US metropolitan areas it is fine. I lived down at Sherbourne and Carleton for years and never had any problems. Like any big city, your number can just come up and that's too bad. The chances that just at random somebody is going to break into your apartment and attack your girlfriend? Miniscule. |

It's not super dangerious, but no, I don't think it's a great area. Movie to Spadina & Bloor or something ... near University of Toronto. Good priced rentals right on the subway and the worst annoyance are some college students singing late at night. |

Wellesley and Parliament is one of the highest crime areas-I would not leave her alone during the night. If you have no choice-get alarmforce and a dog or two. |

Back the phuck up! Wellesley and parliament is where I was born and raised and i'd appreciate it if you didnt belittle my community!....if you stay away from bleecker you're good. Not like you cant walk through there, but if you are already paranoid it may make you s*hit up!
You're girlfriend is good....we're hustlers not savages! |
