Technically it is false. The two major parties are usually considered to be the Liberals and the Conservatives. However, the Bloc Quebecois is a major player as well. With a minority government all parties can sometimes be considered major players. |

Factually, it's false. The two major parties nationally are the Liberals and Conservatives (though provincially in BC it's the liberals and NDP).
But if your school is anything like my university, your teachers/professors would drool at the thought of the Liberals and NDPs being the two major parties, and mark it as right anyway. At my university it's impossible to express any opinion that's not Harper = Bush = the coming of the third reich. |

Depends where you are living. The Liberals and Conservatives are the two largest for Canada. But the NDP is largely in Ontario. If you go to Quebec you won't find anything but the Bloc party. It's highly regional. |
