U.S.A.

i am U.S. citizen, and U.S. and Canada have a tug-of-war every year, so far, U.S. wins every year...our "Independence day celebrations", fourth for U.S. and first for Canada, in the month of July of course. We all get along and have fun, but so far, from the past two years any way, we, the U.S.A. has won both times :)

Both have their pros and cons, of course, because NOBODY is perfect.

Things cost less in the US, which is nice, but wages are also lower and, at the moment, the unemployment rate is higher. Canada is booming right now.

Canada has better social benefits, like Universal Healthcare. It may have its share of problems, but I'm still incredibly grateful to have it. I know I will never have to pay one cent just to see my doctor, have a blood test, or get an x-ray done - never mind get into an awful accident or get diagnosed with some chronic disease.

Canadian working women automatically get 1 year of maternity leave - paid for by the government. In the US, any maternity leave is up to the employer, and usually you get no more than a couple of months - often unpaid.

University costs are rising in Canada, but they are still far less expensive than schools in the US.

Our crime rate per capita isn't even worth comparing. Canada wins this hands down.

I could go on, but let's just say I am proud to be a Canadian, and wouldn't change it or anything!

USA, but Canada is very nice

I am from the USA and I go to Canada some times, good beer, nice people but too cold and too much taxes on things making things overly pricey

I'm from Australia, and Canada is better because it's most like Australia (at least politicaly, culturaly and socially). USA is similar to each, but both Canada and Australia took the best parts of the English systems and combined them with our own ideas.

It's a not so well known fact that Australia invented the idea of the secret ballot, among other things.
