the best place near the ocean, with fabulous views and skiing and mountains and everything you like is in British Columbia, Whistler. Some say #1 Ski Resort in N. America. They will have the 2010 Winter Games, so see it now and then watch the games on TV, you will know what is where.
It's within driving distance from CA, just a bit north of Vancouver.
Too much to tell, you gotta see it for yourself. They may have construction at resorts and hotels for the Olympics so you may get good discounts. |

when are you planning on going to find snow right now we got very little snow unless you wana go up north in the yukon right beside alaska but vancouver sounds like your best bet or victoria or maybe more sub urban like silverton or salmo but there not by the ocean but they have big lakes

Tofino, BC. This is a HUGE Holiday Destination in British Columbia, and we get a TON of snow.
The drive up is amazing, and is a great way to see BC's version of the West Coast.
There are some amazing beaches, too. (Plus you get to drive through Cathedral Grove, which is where a part of Star Wars was filmed; amazing forest!) |

If you like snow the mountains between Alberta and BC are the best I think.
Kananaskis, Banff, Lake Louise. It's beautiful and the scenery is some of the best in the world! |
