Vancouver WA is just a suburb these days and suburban life is boring for anyone under say 40 unless you have a family. Start venturing into Portland, find some places you like to hang out a lot, and then start looking into costs of rent or buying closer to where you enjoy.

That or take up some hobbies that aren't affected by rainy weather because we all know on the west coast that if you're hemmed in by rain then you'll never leave the house.

you moved to the wrong Vancouver, move to Vancouver, British Columbia Canada. Life will be totally different in Vancouver,BC.

Have not been there in years, last time was when my Mom bought shoes there on the way back from California in 1989. Of course, as mentioned, this page is for Vancouver BC, Canada. Up here we have skiing, beaches, camping, white water rafting, hiking & biking, nightclubs, sporting events of many types, and rain (just kidding though we do get a lot, we also have sun and snow).

You're on the Vancouver, BC site - and it is anything but boring, so hop in your car, drive for two hours and visit your Canadian namesake.

Vanessa
uhm.. so why are you posting in vancouver, canada's page? this vancouver is in a different country, honey.

Get in your car and drive across the bridge to Portland. You're living in a suburb so drive into the city and have some fun.
