Whistler is probably the most popular and well know in Canada. Revelstoke, Panorama and Fernie are both very popular in interior BC. Sunshine in Banff, Lake Louise in Lake Louise and Marmot in Jasper are very popular in western Alberta.

For Whistler (there are plenty of Aussies there!) fly into Vancouver and fly into Calgary for the rest of the destinations. Oh and we don't call them snowfields, we call them hills, resorts or slopes.

Whistler in BC is Canada's ski destination. Vancouver has direct flights from Sydney and Auckland so you don't have to fly anywhere else. However Whistler is a 1-2 hour drive from Vancouver.
Hope to see you here soon mate.

My husband went to Whistler for his bachelor party last year and had a great time. It's where they are having the next winter Olympics. It is on the western side of Canada. My husband's friend, who skis whenever possible, is planning a trip to a place called Rebel Stoke that's supposed to be, like, one of the biggest ski areas in Canada. I'm not sure what area it's in. Have fun!

Mont Tremblant, QC and Whistler, BC.

Whistler/Blackcomb and Banff is for sure the best ones. But if you find them a bit too pricey, you should check out Big White. I heard it's getting more and more popular but it's still not as expensive as Whistler or Banff.

If going to Whistler then fly into Vancouver and then take the coach bus up the mountain.

If going to Big White, then fly into Vancouver and then either fly to Kelowna or take coach bus there.

If going to Banff, then fly into Calgary and then take coach bus from there.
