Western Alienation -- How do YOU feel?

I'm really most interested in how people from western Canada feel about the phenomenon, but by all means, pipe in.

How would you like to see the issue of western alienation addressed?

Do you feel like we are treated unfairly in the context of Canadian politics, culture and media?

Would you support seperation of the western provinces?





Living in the GTA has completely destroyed any patriotism I once had. I'm a western separatist now.

Lets review. When American wanted to screw BC over with softwood lumber did Canada do anything to save our most important industry? No. Disgusting amounts of jobs were lost. But the Feds didn't care. The economy was GOOD then and they wouldn't bail out the industry.

But, wait, our government is spending millions of dollars bailing out car manufacturers in Ontario because they're the biggest employers there? Bullshit.

Favouritism.

And it's not just the government that drives me nuts. The people here are crushing my soul, man. I've never met such a self-involved group of individuals in my entire life. They cannot recogize that Ontario ISN'T Canada. That there are other factors making up the country. Drives. Me. Nuts.
