What's Canadian cuisine like?

Or is it similar to American...meaning fast food, delis, and many restuarants serving international cuisine? Is there distinct Canadian cuisine? Where can I try it in Toronto? other than poutine

Camazing
Similar to American and French cuisine.

answer me and ill answer you
Besides Montreal Bagels and Quebec Poutines, Canadian cuisine is quite like American Cuisine.

very much American. We love our McDonald's take out after a night of drinking just as much as you do.

wahoo
Canada and U.S. have pretty much the same cuisine. They also have many of the same chain restaurants and fast food places..

there are a tone of restaraunts in Toronto that have Canadian and international cuisine, but sadly i don't think that there is a distinct Canadian cuisine any more. there are places like Swiss Challet (which is Canadian), Tim Hortons, Montana's, that have good food. take a look online and see how many restaraunts are in Toronto and the surrounding area and sample a few of them.
