What's the best province in Canada to live in? (currently live in Ontario)? |
I live in Ontario but want to move to another province. What province..
-gets the most snow? (I love snow, and no I won't move to a territory)
-is the coldest?
-has a really good cardiology hospital? (ya I really don't think many people will even know that but I'm crossing my fingers..) |

I have to agree with Jane - Quebec I believe gets the most snow and their hospitals are state of the art. It is actually a good life people live there and very different than Toronto, where I'm living now. I find people there appreciate culture and life more than here and Quebec is a very beautiful place. It is cheaper than Ontario too.
Alberta is good for work and yes you do get paid more there, but the cost is living is through the roof!!! It is at least 3 times more than Ontario. |

Of course I will preach for my own parish. The province of Quebec has the most diversified economy of all provinces and territories. Even though our neighbors are in the middle of a crisis Canada has been stable but surprisingly Québec has been thriving. Believe it or not construction is up and unemployment is down. We have more affordable homes and general living cost are lower of all provinces. We have Mont-Tremblant who's known around the world for its skying Mountains and Montreal has an important cardiology center. |

I would say Calgary is your best bet.
I live in Toronto and have been thinking of moving to another province myself just to see something new.
I'm thinking BC, either Vancouver or the Island, but if you love snow that won't work for you. |

Prairie provinces are pretty cold and snowy though Newfoundland seems to get huge dumps of snow but then it melts.
Can't help with hospital. Calgary's Foothills hospital is sort of famous. |

Probably Alberta because the province is so rich that there are taxes (provincial) and they can afford more things |

Other than Ontario i would say Nova Scotaia, the only cons are that it gets hurricanes occasionally. Maybe New Brunswick but theres not much there and if you like Warmth then its British Columbia for you! |
