First of all, Canada doesn't have states. They belong to the village idiot we live next to.

Second of all, any of the contributing provinces to our equalization system would obviously survive on their own economically, while the rest would end up on welfare like they currently are.

Hamish
Canada has provinces not states. Each province adds to the beauty of Canada. Don`t mess with perfection!

Please when asking try to have at least your facts somewhat straight. Canada does not have states only provinces and the territories.

Lisa L
Hello from Toronto!! Well I understand what you are asking but we here in Canada have provinces not states.
To answer the question, of course it would be Ontario. In Ontario we have the most population of all of Canada. Which brings in the most money, we have the largest cities, and freeways.

Your answer is Ontario

Obviiously,( if we did have states) it woud not be Quebec, as we all know they already tried to reach that goal. It s pretty hard to have a country if noone wants to stay in it.
Just look at Taiwan, they are in the same situation right now, as they want to pull away from China and become independent.....
......although Hong Kong seems to be doing well as "it s own country.", no wait it is really still part of China, although most people outside of mainland China, don t really view it in that light.
