Three Positives:
1. Abundance of land = lots of space
2. Abundance of natural resources
3. Canadians are polite, usually, and usually quite well-educated
Three Negatives:
1. It is harder to get ahead financially and career-wise because it is such a small population
2. Prices/housing prices are going up but wages are not keeping up
3. Cold weather for 4-5 months a year, on average |

The Good:
1. Freedom
2. Space
3. General higher standard of living than most countries OR low cost of living depending on how you look at it.
The Bad:
1. Harder to move up or get ahead than in The States, only 1/10 of the population your boss better like you.
2. The Weather is awful for 6 months of a year in most places
3. Canadians can sometimes be irritating, uncouthe, snotty, boring, pushy, overly demanding, petty, I forgot to add petty or a combination of the above, the "Chip on your shoulder" monarchist mentality of the Loyalists. But I suspect this is just because I live in Toronto, where everyone thinks they know everything! Ok I'll stop.
There's more good than bad, I'll leave it at that. |

Canadians are friendly and happy people who are willing to help you if you need it. It's a beautiful, diverse place with lots to see and do. There is a lot of entertainment and theatre there. The mountains are fabulous. The winters are cold and its difficult to drive. I'm not sure about their health system - might be much like the US. Can't say too much bad about the place - I love it! |
