You had best plan on spending most of your time indoors as it will be COLD. Get a hotel with an indoor pool and hot tub. Pack warm clothes. Check out the casino and there is also a winery on the Canadian side if you like wine tasting. Up the river from the falls is a butteryfly conservatory. When you get there you find plenty of info in your hotel about stuff to do.

I grew up in Niagara Falls, so I am very familiar with the area. Niagara Falls just renovated the convention center into the Seneca Niagara Casino - and I highly recommend it. The Maid of the Mist is also a fun tourist activity, but this time of year may be too cold. The Aquarium might also be fun for you and your boyfriend. And there's cheap shopping at the Prime Outlet Mall. Much more to do on the Canadian side of the Falls, and across the border is my favorite place - Clifton Hill - good nightlife, shopping, and restaurants, all within walking distance.

Casino Niagara is a fun place to go, plus you can always go see a Sabres game. Albright Knox Art Museum is a great place too, and the Botanical Gardens are beautiful.

We just got back from Niagara. Beautiful. The aquarium is great. They have a wonderful sea lion show. Cheap admission too. If you go over to the Canadian side, definitely check out the Minolta or the Skylon Tower. Minolta has a deal that you can go up twice for less $ than the Skylon Tower which is great so you can see the falls during the day and at nite when they are lit up. They also have the Skywheel which gives you a great look at the falls. Clifton Hills has a lot of shopping and some cool little attractions and several places to eat. Table Rock (right beside the Horseshoe Falls) has a full sit down restaurant and some fast food. Canada certainly has more stuff for you to do when its cold outside. :) Have fun!!

Niagara Falls has tons of tourist things to do. eg madame tusauds. or Niagara on the Lake is a really really nice little town! I would definately visit there if i were you. In buffalo, there is cheaper shopping than in Canada. Try the Galleria Mall, its really big and nice. Come to Toronto!!!! The Eatons centre is sooooo cool. Or if you want to stay in Niagara you have to go up the Sklon Tower( mini CN tower if you cant make it to toronto) It overlooks the Falls and has a rotating restaurant! I would suggest going to the CN tower if you can though. Its really cool in toronto... but is quite expensive, costs about $35 to go up the tower.
