What are some good tourist attractions in Toronto? |
I'm going on vacation and the tourism websites are not all that helpful. Shopping, museums, and historical sights are best, but I'm open to anything. |

Casa Loma, ROM, CN Tower, Eaton Center, Bay Street Shopping, Koreatown (Bloor and Bathurst), The Toronto Zoo, Greektown has some pretty nice shops along Danforth, Yorktown (near downtown) has the real expensive high priced shops, North York has some nice shopping plazas too. Try some flea markets but don't get suckered into paying too much. Many vendors can be talked down. The Pantages Theater, so many places are in Toronto it's bananas. You could spend a week there and see 5 places a day and still not see everything. Have fun! |

***Olympic Spirit Toronto is situated in the heart of Toronto on Dundas Square. (My favorite activity!)
Casa Loma: Toronto's famous castle
CN Tower
Bata Shoe Museum
Royal Ontario Museum (Wow!)
Off of Dundas Square, is a mall that is a few floors high and a block long...if you feel like shopping or eating. The block also has tons of little shops and restaurants.
Have fun. It is a great city with wonderful people. Can't wait to go back. |

To add to the list already mentiioned, there is the Toronto Zoo, which is the largest zoo in the world, the Rogers Center, formally the Skydome has tours, Toronto Island which is about a 20 min Ferry ride out into the lake, lots of live theater, and for shopping the Eaton Center is considered a tourist attraction so it is open even on holidays. Have fun in this fun city |
